| Notice: | Maria is a Body Artist and Remedial Massage Therapist based in Melbourne, Australia. She has combined her passion for Face/Body painting with anatomy, to produce a workshop on Muscle Painting for the Body Artist. Maria started her career as a Massage Therapist 13 years ago and has been teaching Massage related subjects in both private and government colleges in Australia since 2004. During this time she also fell in love with Face Painting & Body Art and won the Face Painting award at the 2008 Australian Body Art Carnival. Maria has also won international awards and recently won the preliminaries to become one of the finalists at the 2009 Italian Body Painting Festival. Maria was an Educator at the 2009 Sydney IMATS. She will also be an instructor at the 2010 Face & Body Art International Convention (FABAIC) in Orlando Florida and the 2010 Face & Body Art Convention in Los Vegas (FPBA). Maria has also taken a pro active role in promoting Australian Body Art by organizing Body Art competitions in Australia. The most prominent of which is The Australian Body Art Awards. |
