A relative newcomer to bodypainting Desmond is renowned in the international surf industry for his artwork on surfboards and murals. An award winning painter of custom motorcycles, and a teacher of the fine art of airbrushing, Desmond's skills transfer seamlessly onto the body canvas. The world bodypainting festival will be his first international competition in the bodypainting arena. 'I've been painting professionally for 10 years now, and the element which most excites me is working amongst other artists and being immersed in a creative atmosphere. I'm an Australian born to Scottish parents and so am now working between Australia and Europe depending on the seasons...and the surf.' |
