The NZ Festival of Body Art 2010 is going to be an extravaganza event showcasing the marvelous works and an opportunity for young and old to experience this kind of art up close. It is going to be an over a week-long festival of the art of face painting, special effects make-up, extreme make-up for film & television and many other forms under the general theme Maori Myths and Legend.

Greetings and Welcome to the First North American Body Painting Championships!

From the most exciting city on Earth….Las Vegas, we bring you the first of its kind in North America with prize money totaling $24,000 in 2 categories.

PRIZES:   1ST PLACE      $5000 + TROPHY
2ND PLACE     $3000 + TROPHY
3RD PLACE     $2000 + TROPHY
4TH PLACE     $1000 + MAKE-UP
5TH PLACE     $1000 + MAKE-UP

There will only be 70 contestants allowed per category (SPONGE/BRUSH and AIRBRUSH) to enter. You will need to enter ASAP to secure a spot. Your number will be issued in the order that you register. There is a $100 Registration fee. Upon arriving at the hotel and signing in, you will receive a $50 food card good at all Harrah’s Properties.

Only 25 contestants from each category will be selected to move on to the Finals. Preliminaries for SPONGE/BRUSH will take place on Friday the 12th of February. Preliminaries for AIRBRUSH will take place on Saturday the 13th of February.
The Finals will be held on Sunday the 14th.
