USA: Review of Living Art America, 2017

Living Art America, The North American Bodypainting Championship is a sanctioned contest by the WBA. It’s the largest and most prestigious bodypainting event in North America and took place once again in Greensboro, North Carolina.

International jury consisting of Robin Solina, Jinny from Canada, Craig Tracy from New Orleans and Alex Barendregt Chairman of the WBA coming from Austria had the pleasure to see and judge in the 2 categories “Emerging artists” and “Pro” a fantastic field of talents. Beside artists from all over the USA also international participants from Italy, the Netherlands, Canada and Chile made their way to the art city Greensboro which supports fantastic all the activities around Living Art America. This event is supported by the Chelko Foundation which seeks to empower women through art, education and partnership by awarding scholarships in the arts and presenting special humanitarian grants. Additional support from the bodypainting industry came from Mehron and Cameleon.
